"Te Caigo"
-
Girl Ultra -
single [Big Dada: 2026]
Notes: Girl Ultra was a music-obsessed teenager absorbing Mexico City’s nightlife, radio culture and deep nostalgia for past sounds. Immersed in a city where dance floors became classrooms and genres coexisted without hierarchy, she grew up with Latin Rock and 80s pop anthems on the radio while saving money to experience live acts like Chromeo and Bloc Party. -
"Canto Andino"
-
Hermanos Gutierrez -
single [Easy Eye Sound: 2026]
Notes: Hermanos Gutiérrez—the Swiss-Ecuadorian sibling duo of Estevan and Alejandro Gutiérrez—have announced their new album Los Ojos Del Cóndor, out September 25 on Easy Eye Sound. Produced by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys at his Easy Eye Sound studio in Nashville, the 10-track album draws the duo's cinematic guitar work more directly toward their South American roots, trading the wide-open spaces of the American West for the rhythms and textures of the Andes. -
"The Coverband Rules"
-
Pan Amsterdam -
Panarama [Def-Presse: 2026]
Notes: On ‘This Cover Band Rules’, alternative indie, rock and electronic textures collide as Pan Amsterdam is joined by bona fide indie royalty - Nick Zinner of Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Brad Truax of Interpol, whose contributions add further weight to the track’s distinctive sound. Pan Amsterdam presents ‘This Cover Band Rules’, the latest single from his forthcoming album ‘Panarama’, released via UK-based label - Def Pressé. Pan Amsterdam is the brainchild of Houston-born, New York-based musician and composer Leron Thomas, the project embraces the harder edges of his sound while continuing to blur the boundaries between jazz improvisation, abstract rap, punk attitude, and experimental production. -
"Light Up!"
-
Agenor Garcia -
Luminescence [Momentum Project: 2026]
Notes: Most of Garcia's methods are, above all, to create an atmosphere where you can almost "see the mood". He says that music is most effective when you feel something visual, almost tactile. It's also perceptible the "spaces" in his music, where the silence serves to accomplish emotions rather than anything else. "Silence also expresses emotions, and can be a way to relay a message." -
"Kanubaw"
-
Pcha -
single [Real World X: 2026]
Notes: Born Siaka Traoré in Sikasso and raised in a family of master musicians — his father is balafon legend Neba Solo — Pcha is part of a new generation redefining the sound of Mali. From his base in Bamako, he takes the balafon somewhere altogether new, fusing its hypnotic melodies with amapiano log drums, afrobeats and bass-heavy electronics. -
"Speed of Light"
-
Leepeck -
Where The Wild Things Drown [Earthprogram: 2026]
Notes: My name is Piotr Lipka and I perform as LEEPECK, an alt-folk / Americana singer-songwriter from Poland. LEEPECK was featured by Rolling Stone as one of its “10 Artists You Should Know”, and I am also a recipient of the SuperJedynka – Album of the Year award. My social media content has reached over 30 million views this year, building a community of nearly 50,000 followers on TikTok. -
"Random Boy"
-
Guido Moran -
Republica del Karma [Altafonte: 2026]
Notes: Following a journey that included the launch of República del Karma Club, a European tour with Yami Safdie, and years of work as an independent artist, Guido Morán presents República del Karma, a concept album that brings together music, film, and performance within a single creative universe. Without any major organizations backing him, he chose an independent path where every song, every music video, and every aesthetic decision took shape step by step. There were doors that didn’t open, projects that had to wait, and releases that were postponed. However, his goal never changed: to take República del Karma exactly where he had envisioned it. -
"Laga Luga"
-
Levsultan -
single [Levsultan: 2026]
Notes: Greetings from Istanbul. I’m LEVSULTAN, an independent artist from Türkiye. I’m sharing two current releases for airplay consideration because they sit between Turkish/global pop, electronic dance production and contemporary rap/pop elements. -
"Soul Makossa"
-
Mel Holder -
single [Megawave: 2026]
Notes: Professionally known as Dr. Mel Holder, GRAMMY®-nominated producer, artist, and instrumentalist Mel Holder presents a vibrant summer reinterpretation of an international classic originally made famous by Cameroonian music icon Manu Dibango. -
"Viktor"
-
Melkutus Party -
Mahti [Nordic Notes: 2026]
Notes: An exploration of combining Finnish kantele tradition, electronic soundscapes and infectious dance grooves. Is it possible to sample surrounding nature? What happens when acoustic soundscapes of kantele meet digital realities? What if past generations had access to the same technologies that we have today? And what kind of songs are there to be played after the human race has vanished? -
"Bir Lokma Sevda"
-
Hilal Kaya -
Sumbul [CPL-Music: 2026]
Notes: Turkish-Danish vocalist, songwriter and composer Hilal Kaya will release her debut album “Sümbül” on August 28, 2026 via CPL Music / Nordic Notes. Rooted in Turkish folk music, the album blends elements of rock, jazz and psychedelia while reimagining traditional Anatolian sounds through a modern and free-spirited musical approach. -
"Love"
-
Ibibio Sound Machine -
Chopping Mountain [Merge: 2026]
Notes: Ibibio Sound Machine release their sixth album, Chopping Mountain, via Merge Records. Built through live jams, rhythmic experiments, and instinctive interplay, Chopping Mountain captures the band at their most connected and musically adventurous. From the euphoric disco rush of “When You Want to Dance” to the spiritual intensity of “Return to Sender,” the album is restless, expansive, and full of movement — another bold step forward for a band who have always refused to stand still. -
"Comeco"
-
Blurry The Explorer -
Clear Blue Mind [Nublu: 2026]
Notes: Jeremy Gustin's exploratory music project Blurry the Explorer unveils its third album, Clear Blue Mind—a vibrant, genre-defying collection born from improvisation, coincidence, and creative discovery in Rio de Janeiro. Recorded at the legendary Marini Studio in the Botafogo neighborhood, the 10-track album expands the project's borderless sonic world with contributions from an international cast. -
"Power of the Sun"
-
Chili Guys -
single [Flow State Studios: 2026]
Notes: Chili Guys have built a grassroots following in Miami with their laid-back charm, genre-blending sound, and performances that feel equal parts jam session and beach party. Their feel-good music and positive message have helped shape a distinctive, infectious sound that resonates with audiences of all ages. -
"This is a Photograph"
-
Making Movies -
single [3/2 Recordings: 2026]
Notes: Latin Grammy-nominated band Making Movies will release "This Is a Photograph (bajo el sol de Panamá)," featuring Kevin Morby, on August 21, 2026. It is the lead single from Una Vida, the band’s first album since 2022’s XOPA, out October 30. The release reimagines Morby’s beloved song through a deeply personal, Spanish-language interpretation inspired by family, memory, and Panamá’s cultural legacy, and arrives with a visualizer directed by William J. Stribling. -
"Sorria de Novo"
-
Joyce Moreno -
Joyce e Tutty Moreno [Jazz Is Dead: 2026]
Notes: Joyce & Tutty Moreno, the architects of Brazilian sophisticated samba, release their album Joyce e Tutty Moreno JID027 out August 7th via Jazz Is Dead. The album is a bittersweet masterpiece, in collaboration with Adrian Younge, and a tribute to the late João Donato. It captures the ethereal beauty of collective improvisation, the weight of saudade, and the unbreakable bond between two of Brazil's most revered artists. -
"The Enchantment"
-
Shelia Chandra -
Echo [Real World: 2026]
Notes: Echo is likely Sheila Chandra’s final album. A collection of live performances, the title loosely references the nymph of Greek myth who lost her voice – just as Chandra did 15 years ago. The album will be released on 25 September, via Real World Records, on LP and Digital. Digital release comes with six extra tracks. A shy and infrequent live performer in her time, and very much aware that so many of her fans were disappointed never to have seen her in concert, Chandra has put together this collection of recordings to give them a taste of what her breathtaking virtuoso solo voice performances were like. -
"The Fool"
-
The Fool's Journey -
single [The Fool's Journey: 2026]
Notes: “The Fool” is the debut single from The Fool’s Journey, a new project by Camila Celin & Ehren Hanson and part of the larger album world of Divine Trinity. The track is a guitar-led instrumental blending expressive nylon-string guitar, Spanish-tinged melodies, marimba-like colors, atmospheric production, subtle electronic textures, and a steady downtempo pulse. -
"Promessa De Pescador"
-

Released by Rocinante on August 27 and available on vinyl and across major streaming platforms, the album draws on Caymmi’s profound relationship with the sea, fishing, Bahia’s landscapes, Afro-Bahian spirituality and popular speech. -
