   Notes: Newest Album by renowned Gamelan orchestra Salukat and award-winning composer Jan Kadereit. Salukat is one of the most acclaimed ensembles dedicated to contemporary ethnological music in the world.
10. "Toumaro" - Hawa & Kasse Made Diabate - Toumaro [One World: 2025]
    Notes: Hawa Kasse Mady Diabaté is the daughter of the legendary Malian musician Kasse Mady Diabaté, known as "the golden voice of Mali." After Kasse Mady's passing in 2018, Hawa continued his legacy by completing the album "Toumaro," which she wrote the title track for. This album features her father's musical style and is a tribute to his artistic contributions, showcasing her talent as a singer and member of the Trio Da Kali group.
11. "Bagola" - Trio Da Kali - Bagola [One World: 2025]
    Notes: In their new album 'Bagola', Trio Da Kali present newly-composed songs accompanied on balafon and ngoni bass, that provide a rich accompaniment to the spectacular voice of Hawa Kasse Mady Diabate. She inherits her singing style from her father, the late Kasse Mady Diabate, who was widely recognised as one of Africa's all-time greatest singers, and won a Grammy nomination in 2004.
12. "Chan Chan" - Estrellas de Buena Vista - Live in Havana [One World: 2025]
    Notes: Directed by the legendary tres player, Pancho Amat, founding member of Manguare, which would become one of the leading ensembles within the nueva trova movement, Estrellas de Buena Vista was formed to continue the tradition of Buena Vista Social Club. The band features 16 musicians, including 8 original members from Buena Vista Social Club.
13. "Djonkoloni" - Bassekou Kouyate & Amy Sacko - Djudjon [One World: 2024]
    Notes: Bassekou Kouyate is one of the true masters of the ngoni, an ancient traditional lute found throughout West Africa, and he has collaborated with many musicians in and outside of Mali, such as Ali Farka Toure, Toumani Diabate and Taj Mahal. Together with his wife, the fantastic singer Amy Sacko, they play music, which has already played by his parents. 'Djudjon' is a classical griot program with a chamber music character.
14. "Bolero a la Vida" - Omara Portuondo - Vida [One World: 2023]
    Notes: This album is a tribute to Omara's musical legacy. On 'VIDA' Omara sings together with a stellar line up of legendary singers. Anyone who has loved Cuban and Latin music of the last 50 years will recognize the beauty of the timeless songs.
15. "Xama" - Danzon Brothers - Instrumental Odyssey [Putumayo: 2025]
    Notes: (Peru / Greece): The duo composed of Dan Barracuda and Dan Weeks, draw on their Latin and Mediterranean roots for a distinctive contemporary sound that fuses tradition and innovation.
16. "Sand" - Hoehn - Instrumental Odyssey [Putumayo: 2025]
    Notes: (Switzerland): Swiss brothers Samuel and Silvan Kuntz craft atmospheric, guitar-driven pieces that blend classical and jazz techniques, inspired by European landscapes.
17. "Sonfo" - Amadou & Mariam - single [Because: 2025]
    Notes: Amadou & Mariam join forces with Congolese star Fally Ipupa on 'Sonfo', an irresistible afropop ballad, setting the tone for their forthcoming and final album L'amour à la folie, out Oct. via Because Music. Though Amadou is no longer with us, the duo's timeless voices continue to carry a message of love and unity.
18. "Viver" - Jarbas Mariz - Brasil Calling Volume 20 [Brasil Calling: 2025]
    Notes: Veteran multi-instrumentalist Jarbas Mariz, a key figure in Brazilian folk and forró circles, teams up with band Dona Olga on a heartfelt song celebrating life and survival.
