Pavement’s Slanted and Enchanted at 30

By WTJU Rock

Pavement‘s Slanted & Enchanted is often considered to be the ne plus ultra of 90s alternative/indie/college/whatever rock, and with good reason. But do you remember how things felt three decades ago when it came out? Even if you don’t, we know some folks who do.

WTJU celebrated the 30th anniversary of this album with special guests Stephen Malkmus, Bob Nastanovich, Steve West, and Spiral Stairs of Pavement, plus Rob Sheffield from Rolling Stone magazine. Hosted by DJ Baconfat as part of WTJU’s 2022 Rock Marathon, we’ve embedded the recording for you to enjoy.

As this was part of our 2022 Rock Marathon fundraiser, donations are always gladly accepted at wtju.net/donate!
