Jazz Marathon Kick Off Concert, Sep 23

In advance of the Jazz Marathon (Sep 24-30), WTJU is delighted to join Charlottesville Jazz Society in presenting Joel Harrison in concert Sunday evening, September 23.  The 7 pm concert will take place at UVA’s Brooks Hall, and feature Harrison’s roots/jazz band, Free Country.  A portion of all ticket sales will go to the Jazz Marathon.  Advance tickets are available on-line or by calling 434-249-6191.


The band is currently touring behind its latest release, Angel Band Free Country Vol. 3.
