From Monday, September 29 through Sunday, October 5, treat your ears to round-the-clock jazz and blues as part of WTJU’s annual Jazz Marathon! You get to enjoy non-stop selection of the greatest variety of jazz, from the early roots of jazz in New Orleans to the birth of bebop to the latest jazz releases.

Every day of the Jazz Marathon, we’ll feature a live performance. Guest artists include John D’Earth, Greg Howard, The Jon Spear Blues Band, and lots more. We’re even airing a live performance of Robert Jospe Express from their CD release party at The Southern Cafe & Music Hall.

The Jazz Marathon is one of WTJU’s major fundraisers each year that enables us to keep great community radio strong in Charlottesville.The Marathon starts September 29, but feel free to donate now at wtju.net/donate. Or mail your tax-deductible donation to:
