Hot Mamas head over the mountain to The Stage

By WTJU

Date: 05/16/2023

Time: 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

The Hot Mamas are heading over the mountain for a special concert which will also be broadcast on WTJU. The Hot Mamas are an all-female singer-songwriter collective that is rapidly gaining interest around the Shenandoah Valley. Quirky, fun, profound, and sincere, The Hot Mamas’ writing styles range from jazzy to pop, from sea chanties to murder ballads, soulful blues to drinkin’-when-you’re-sad country tunes.

This is a free event, open to all. Masks are strongly encouraged for all attendees.  You can also listen on the radio (91.1 FM) or on-line, and even video stream it at WTJU’s Facebook page or YouTube channel.  But concerts always sound better with you as part of the studio audience.  WTJU is located at 2244 Ivy Rd in Charlottesville, right next door to Vivace.  There is plenty of parking, both in our lot as well as the Sentara lot next door.
