Rum Cove’s 45 RPM Label History: U.S.A. Records

By Rum Cove

This series is designed to give you a visual representation of the many labels that The Rum Cove features on his long running Soulful Situation broadcast.

U.S.A. Records of Chicago was a Blues, Soul, and Pop label in operation from 1960 until 1969. It was part of Allstate Distributors and its offices were opposite the Chess studios on Michigan Avenue’s “Record Row”. This sleeve was used from 1964 through 1969.
