Third Rail presents Fellowman with DJ Blade Relic at WTJU

By WTJU Rock

Date: 01/17/2026

Time: 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Join us for the first Third Rail of 2026 with Charlottesville Rapper, Fellowman, backed by DJ Blade Relic. This free event is open to all at 2244 Ivy Rd. You can also listen on 91.1 FM, stream via wtju.net, video stream on WTJU’s YouTube channel, or listen via WTJU’s new mobile APP.

Last summer, Charlottesville’s Fellowman broke four years of silence with No Safety Net, an album crackling with the urgency of its ripped-from-the-headlines subject matter. Backed by DJ Blade Relic, he is bringing a special performance of No Safety Net to the Third Rail Stage. The rapper, producer, and former director of Charlottesville’s Nine Pillars Hiphop Cultural Fest takes a hard turn from the contemplative tone of his last two releases, back to the aggressive directness of his earlier material. Fans of dead prez, Immortal Technique, and Brother Ali will resonate with the artist’s sharp social critiques, intricate wordplay, and raw, sample-laden sound.

Third Rail is supported locally by Hello Goodbye Records, now at their new location, 108 4th Street, Northwest, in Downtown Charlottesville.
