Charlottesville’s own Greg Brown will stop by WTJU this Wednesday afternoon around 5 to chat with Emily and share a few new and upcoming releases. That includes work with his string trio and quartet coming out on the Italian Cicerone MA label as part of the modern masterworks series. He has a few concerts coming up in the DC and NY area in celebration of the 20th anniversary of his album, “Sojourns in Solitude”, and they might delve into an album he has out with the Czech National Symphony which won a Silver medal at the Global music awards which is in consideration for a Grammy.

Something New airs Wednesday afternoon from 4-7 (eastern) at 91.1FM, online at wtju.net, and using the WTJU app.
