This series is designed to give you a visual representation of the many labels that The Rum Cove features on his long running Soulful Situation broadcast.

Liberty Records was founded in 1955 and acquired by TransAmerica Corporation in 1968. TransAmerica was an insurance company and didn’t have a clue how to run a record company. Liberty Records was soon sold to United Artists in 1970.
