Date: 11/06/2026
Time: 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm
The Corrie Lynn Green Collective will pull into Offbeat Roadhouse Friday night, November 6, for a concert which will also be broadcast on WTJU. Corrie Lynn Green’s music reflects the stories of life in a small mountain town, drawing from her deep roots in rural Appalachia. She and the band are currently touring behind her latest release, Day 4 of Living on the Edge, out now on Outer Marker Records.
This is a free event, open to all. You can also listen to Offbeat Roadhouse on the radio (91.1 FM) or on our web player, and even video stream it at WTJU’s YouTube channel. But concerts always sound better with you as part of the studio audience. WTJU is located at 2244 Ivy Rd in Charlottesville, right next door to Vivace. There is plenty of parking, both in our lot as well as the Sentara lot next door. Do please note that you should not park in the lower lot by Shenandoah Joe and Pico Wraps as they enforce towing. You can check out the Offbeat Roadhouse schedule to see concerts past, present, and future.
Offbeat Roadhouse is supported by Plan 9 Music, now in their new expanded location at 188 Zan Road, in Charlottesville’s Seminole Square Shopping Center, and in Carytown, Richmond, or online at plan9music.com. Plan 9 – supporting the independent music community for over 40 years.
Corrie Lynn Green is an Appalachian folk singer-songwriter from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, currently creating a unique spin on the Americana and Appalachian genres.
Corrie Lynn Green’s music reflects the stories of life in a small mountain town, drawing from her deep roots in rural Appalachia. She is a self-taught musician who found a handmade clawhammer banjo during a formative period of her life and used it to develop a style that explores themes of self-discovery, heartbreak, and resilience. Spinning the roots of her musical bluegrass family into traditional Folk, Americana and Punk sounds, Corrie Lynn redefines the meaning of music and expression from the center of the holler world.
In May 2021, she released her debut album, “Blow Away,” produced by D.W. Fearn. Since then, she has been honored to place third in the Stefan George Songwriting Competition in Tucson, Arizona in 2021, was named the early bird songwriter pick for NewSong Music in 2023, was named Best Folk Album of the Year Native DSD in 2024 and was an emerging band invitee at Merlefest in 2025. You may have also caught her and the band at this year’s Red Wing Roots Music Festival.
