Stay All Night at Offbeat Roadhouse

By WTJU

Date: 06/30/2023

Time: 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm

The old-time trio, Stay All Night, will pull into Offbeat Roadhouse Friday night, June 30, for a concert which will also be broadcast on WTJU. The group features Bill Wellington, Lorie Lichtenwalner, and Andrew Carter.

This is a free event, open to all. You can also listen to Offbeat Roadhouse on the radio (91.1 FM) or on-line, and even video stream it at WTJU’s Facebook page or YouTube channel.  But concerts always sound better with you as part of the studio audience.

Offbeat Roadhouse is supported locally by Ting – Bringing light-speed internet to homes and businesses.

Stay All Night combines the musical talents of Bill Wellington on fiddle and banjo, Lorie Lichtenwalner on Guitar, and Andrew Carter on Banjo, fiddle and mandolin to create a powerful old-time band.  Both Bill and Lorie are veterans of Troublesome Creek String Band and many other old-time ensembles while Andrew is a relative newcomer to old-time music and adds a bluegrass flavor to the band.

Together these musicians play lively fiddle tunes that will make you want to dance, and sing songs that will make you want to listen, and maybe sing too!
