Kane & Gellert “Volume 4” Track by Track on Sunset Road

Pete M will be featuring Prism Coffeehouse favorites Kieran Kane (The O’Kanes, Kane, Welch, Kaplin) and Rayna Gellert (Uncle Earl, Joachim Cooder), on Sunset Road this Friday, going track by track through their brand new album Volume 4. Tune in on 91.1 FM or streaming at wtju.net.
The album, a wholly self produced effort, was recorded partly at their home in Nashville and partly at their summer home in the Adirondack Mountains. It features newly composed songs, fresh renderings of songs from Kieran’s back catalog, some old time fiddle tunes, and a newly written fiddle tune. The artwork was painted by Kieran and the package was designed by Rayna’s bother. A couple of tracks feature Kieran’s son on percussion. A truly delightful home grown product!
