By WTJU

Date: 01/05/2023

Time: 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Mandolinist Joe K. Walsh will stop by WTJU this Thursday afternoon during Folk & Beyond to go track by track through his new album, If Not Now, Who?, out January 6 on Adhyâropa Records. Folk & Beyond airs Thursday afternoon from 4-7 (eastern) at 91.1 FM and streaming at wtju.net.

Hailed by CBC-Newfoundland as “one of the best mandolinists of his generation”, Portland, Maine-based mandolin player Joe K. Walsh is known for his exceptional tone and taste, and his collaborations with luminaries including fiddler Darol Anger, flatpick guitarist Scott Nygaard, bluegrass stars the Gibson Brothers, and pop/grass darlings Joy Kills Sorrow have taken him all over the musical map.
