Jacques Thibaud

By Ralph Graves

This Wednesday, Mar. 12, at 9:00 am, Analog Masters features the artistry of Jacques Thibaud

Fritz Kreisler called him “the world’s greatest violinist.” Known for his seductive tone and faultless bowing, Jacques Thibaud was the ideal interpreter of the sensuous Frank “Violin Sonata.”

In this hour, Thibaud is also heard in a rare Vox Turnabout LP recording of Mozart’s 3rd Violin Concerto and a portion of Haydn’s playful Gypsy Trio.
