Cool down in our community radio studios with WTJU Touch & Tour, a FREE family event on Saturday, August 14, 2021, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Modeled after “truck touch,” WTJU’s Touch & Tour is an opportunity for children to get their hands on the radio equipment that brings music and voices to the airwaves: Slide the knobs on a sound board, speak through a microphone, cue a vinyl record, and sit in an actual air studio. You’ll probably meet a few DJs too!
In addition to the equipment-touch, there will be storytime, family tours of the studios, and a music-making activity led by MIMA.
We can’t wait to share our community radio station with the smallest members of the community and their caregivers!
This is a free event, open to all. Masks are required for attendees who are not fully vaccinated.
