Bachman is an artist, musician, and independent scholar primarily interested in the folk histories of Virginia. His latest record, “Almanac Behind” is a deep listen about climate change in the Anthropocene. It’s an instrumental discourse on the state of global climate breakdown told through original compositions both augmented and shaped by field recordings of one year’s worth of weather events.
Tune in to hear Bachman playing his own music, the music of the people who helped him make the album, and music by people who inspired him.
