The 9th annual Charlottesville-Albemarle Black Business Expo is back for 2025 at the Jefferson School African-American Heritage Center on Saturday, June 14, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. The event is free and open to everyone. Since 2017, the Black Business Expo has featured vendor booths, business panel discussions, a pitch contest, and live entertainment for people of all ages.
Entertainment will include Boots on the Ground line dance, Jen Tal Music, and Ebony Groove. In addition to a business pitch competition, there will be panel discussions on Marketing, Finance, and Technology.
The Juneteenth welcome will take place at 11:00 a.m.
Come out for food, vendors, music, and talks, and learn more about the black-owned businesses that are part of the bedrock of our local economy.
