John Kluge and Christine Mahoney will stop by Folk & Beyond Thursday afternoon, April 28, at 4 (edt) to chat about upcoming benefit events sponsored by WTJU at Thistlerock Farm.  The first of those benefits is the already sold out First Annual Mayday-Beltane Celebration this Sunday, May 1. Folk & Beyond airs Thursday afternoon from 4-7 at 91.1 FM and streaming at wtju.net.

Thistlerock Mead Company, the Blue Ridge Irish Music School, and Wayflowering Flower Farm are joining forces to bring you a magical celebration of spring and summer featuring performances by Alex Caton and Pat Eagan, BRIMS’ Irish music and dance performers ages 5 – adults, special workshops in traditional bowmaking, meadmaking, and flower crown design, a community Ceili and Maypole dance, pony rides, a reading from children’s author and founder of Accessible Beekeeping Justin Ruger, and much more!
