Tune in to The Jazz Messenger show this Friday morning as your host, Brian Keena, interviews Albemarle High School Jazz Ensemble Director Andrew LaPrade.
The AHS Jazz Ensemble will present their annual Swing into Spring Benefit Concert at the Paramount Theater on Sunday, March 29 at 3:30pm.
This event is designed as a benefit to give back to the Charlottesville community. This year’s recipient is local non-profit Stepping Stone, which supports babies and toddlers from under-resourced families by providing diapers, clothing and other essential items for their health and well-being.
The band will feature unique performances from Dropping Julia, Ivan Orr, Greg Thomas, Taylor Barnett, Bobby Gregg, Charles Owens, John D’Earth, Jay Pun, and Morwenna Lasko!
