This Saturday: WTJU live broadcasts from the Community Chalkboard rededication

By Nathan Moore

Earlier this year, The Bridge PAI became the owner and caretaker of the Community Chalkboard on Charlottesville’s downtown mall. All this week, The Bridge is celebrating a rededication of the community chalkboard with art and performances of all kinds.

This Saturday, September 18th, WTJU will air two live music performances from the Community Chalkboard. At 5:30 p.m., Sons of Ichibei are a duo of rappers bringing rapid-fire flows. Then at 7 p.m., Charlottesville Jazz Society presents The Cville Jazz Congregation.

Find out more about the Community Chalkboard rededication week at TheBridgePAI.org. And tune in this Saturday evening for a pair of live performances on WTJU.
