LISTEN: Roland Wiggins Tribute
Dr. Roland A. Wiggins, influential teacher and friend to jazz legends John Coltrane, Yusef Lateef, Jimmy Owens, Billy Taylor, Quincy Jones and many others, passed away on November 20, 2019. We were fortunate to have Dr. Wiggins put on a special program last month as part of the Jazz Marathon. Peter Jones put together a special tribute during yesterday’s Folk & Beyond which is now available to stream below.
