Community Voices is WTJU’s new free monthly class, for high school and college students, from February through June that covers the fundamentals of audio storytelling. Students will learn about field and studio recording, how to edit audio, how to sound natural behind a mic, and other related skills.
The class will culminate in a final project where students will produce a short feature story, like those heard on NPR. The class covers the skills used in radio journalism, podcasting, and other related audio projects.
The class will meet on the 2nd Saturday of every month, from 10am – 5pm.
