Tom Applegate is an original Richmond punk rocker, and he’s still doing it at 68.

Tom was part of Richmond’s first punk wave in 1978, starting the band L’Amour, followed by Beex, the legendary punk group fronted by his late wife, Christine Gibson.

Since then, Tom earned his teacher’s license and spent years teaching second graders… whilst still writing and performing punk music.

Tom stopped by WTJU earlier this week to sit in with Erin O’ during Ye Olde Tuesday Afternoon Rocke Show. Listen to the show here:
