Sexual Harassment Policy & Prevention

At WTJU, we are dedicated to creating a respectful, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all faculty, staff, students, volunteers, and guests.

As a part of the University of Virginia, WTJU shares UVA’s policy on sexual harassment: “The University prohibits Sexual Assault, Sexual Exploitation, Intimate Partner Violence, Stalking, Sexual or Gender-Based Harassment, Complicity in the commission of any act prohibited by this policy, and Retaliation against a person for the good faith reporting of any of these forms of conduct or participation in any investigation or proceeding under this policy.” The full policy is online here.

The University of Virginia requires all employees to complete a “Preventing and Addressing Discrimination, Harassment, and Retaliation” training on an annual basis. More information about the training is available here.
