Riley Baugus stops by WTJU, Sep 15

Riley Baugus makes his return to Charlottesville on Sunday, September 15, to kick off the Prism Coffeehouse season over at C’Ville Coffee, and we are delighted to welcome Riley back to our studios that afternoon at 12 for a live session.

Riley represents the best of old time American banjo and song. His powerful singing voice and his expert musicianship place him squarely in the next generation of the quality American roots tradition.  He can be heard and seen on Mike Seeger’s last documentary, Just Around the Bend: Survival and Revival in Southern Banjo Sounds, out September 20.
