Greg Brown at Offbeat Roadhouse

Guitarist and composer Greg Brown will pull into Offbeat Roadhouse Friday night, December 1, for a concert which will also be broadcast on WTJU. Brown has released over 25 CDs either under his own name or in various other projects. His most recent album, “Fire and Rain” was released September 2023 and was recorded at the famous Sun Studios in Memphis Tennessee.
This is a free event, open to all. You can also listen to Offbeat Roadhouse on the radio (91.1 FM) or on-line, and even video stream it at WTJU’s Facebook page or YouTube channel. But concerts always sound better with you as part of the studio audience.

American performer, composer and recording artist Greg C. Brown has released over 25 recordings either under his own name or in various other projects. He has performed across the US, Canada, and Europe. His metal band Age of Fire is on Sliptrick Records and his most recent solo release GCB is on Soman Records. He has taught guitar professionally for over 25 years, including Mary Baldwin University and other private institutions. He is currently teaching in his hometown of Charlottesville, Virginia. Greg is endorsed by Solar guitars and Dirtbag clothing.
Greg’s music has been heard on over 1,000 traditional and satellite radio stations around the world. His band, Age of Fire, continues to be featured in international media including Metal Hammer (Portugal), The Metal Mag (UK/France), Fireworks (UK), Hard Music Base (Slovakia), Permafrost (Norway), Dead Rhetoric (USA/Sweden), Bunker (Russia), Iron Backstage (USA), Battlehelm (USA/UK/Sweden), High Speed Hangover (UK), Encyclopaedia Metallum (Canada), Decibel (USA), Megadeth’s Megacruise and many others.
His music can be been heard on TV, Film, Video Games, and radio stations around the world and even been transcribed into Braille. Most recently, Greg received his Master’s in Music Composition from the Vermont College of Fine Arts (2022). His recordings can be purchased or streamed on most major platforms.
