Webley Twizzle Project at Offbeat Roadhouse

By WTJU

Date: 09/29/2023

Time: 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm

The Webley Twizzle Project will pull into Offbeat Roadhouse Friday night, September 29, for a concert which will also be broadcast on WTJU. The Webley Twizzle Project is a bold effort to take acoustic music, from anywhere at all, and fashion a new sound for a unique blend of musical instruments.

This is a free event, open to all. You can also listen to Offbeat Roadhouse on the radio (91.1 FM) or on-line, and even video stream it at WTJU’s Facebook page or YouTube channel.  But concerts always sound better with you as part of the studio audience.

Offbeat Roadhouse is supported locally by Ting – Bringing light-speed internet to homes and businesses.

The Webley Twizzle Project is a bold effort to take acoustic music, from anywhere at all, and fashion a new sound for a unique blend of musical instruments. It’s the best of Celtic and American traditional music mixed with original pieces, polyethnic dance tunes, and the odd melody from Randy Newman’s film scores, ragtime composer James Scott, 50s crooner Dean Martin or iconic Irish harpist Turlough O’Carolan.
