Jamie Dyer & David French at Offbeat Roadhouse

By WTJU

Date: 09/08/2023

Time: 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Jamie Dyer and David French will pull into Offbeat Roadhouse Friday night, September 8, for a concert which will also be broadcast on WTJU. Jamie and David are both longtime fixtures in the Central Virginia music scene. A 2007 memorial service for a mutual friend was where they met and that service was their first gig together.

This is a free event, open to all. You can also listen to Offbeat Roadhouse on the radio (91.1 FM) or on-line, and even video stream it at WTJU’s Facebook page or YouTube channel.  But concerts always sound better with you as part of the studio audience.

Offbeat Roadhouse is supported locally by Ting – Bringing light-speed internet to homes and businesses.

Jamie has lived in Central Virginia for the better part of his 61 years, fronting The Hogwaller Ramblers for a third of that time. David is from Albemarle County and has played in many bands and with many musicians-as well as giving many guitar lessons-in his 41 years. Jamie and David are both songwriters and at least one of them can sing sometimes.
