The Buzz Bees at Offbeat Roadhouse – CANCELED
Author: WTJU
Date: 08/25/2023
Time: 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Buzz Bees Offbeat Roadhouse has been canceled. In its place will be a special encore edition of the very first Offbeat Roadhouse back in 2019 featuring the Buzzard Holllow Boys. An all new Offbeat Roadhouse returns September 1 with Jelly Street Jazz featuring the Bob Bennetta Quartet.
The Buzz Bees will pull into Offbeat Roadhouse Friday night, August 25, for a concert which will also be broadcast on WTJU. The band has roots in R&B, Soul, Funk, folk and even a country edge.
This is a free event, open to all. You can also listen to Offbeat Roadhouse on the radio (91.1 FM) or on-line, and even video stream it at WTJU’s Facebook page or YouTube channel. But concerts always sound better with you as part of the studio audience.
Offbeat Roadhouse is supported locally by Ting – Bringing light-speed internet to homes and businesses.
The Buzz Bees are a four piece eclectic group with roots in R&B, Soul, Funk, folk and even a country edge. They have been together for 5 years now with rotating members depending on availability and venues. There is a sound emerging that is more original from the genres they play and they are honing that sound each month and with every performance.
