Zuzu’s Hot 5 at Offbeat Roadhouse, July 5
Zuzu’s Hot 5 will pull into Offbeat Roadhouse on Friday night, July 5, from 8-9 for a concert which will also be broadcast on WTJU. Bayou Faux Pas’ music is a hot mix of Cajun two-steps, waltzes, and songs, with a driving beat that is great for dancing.
Sure you could listen on the radio (91.1 FM) or on-line, and even video stream it, but concerts always sound better with you as part of the studio audience.
Zuzu’s Hot 5 brings you the best of New Orleans Jazz and Dixieland, but without having to endure the summer humidity of the Crescent City. Oh, and did we mention the concert is right next to a speakeasy? Offbeat Roadhouse takes place each Friday night from 8-9 (doors open at 7:30) from WTJU’s new performance venue, conveniently located at 2244 Ivy Road in Charlottesville (right next to Vivace Restaurant). There is plenty of parking, so come on out to the roadhouse!
