Each week you’ll hear conversations with local classical musicians, learn about upcoming concerts, and enjoy artist-curated playlists. This week’s guests are Kelly Sulick, Senior Lecturer in Flute at UVA and Principal Flute in the Charlottesville Symphony, and John Mayhood, Lecturer in Piano at UVA and Principal Keyboardist in the Charlottesville Symphony.
We’ll talk with Kelly and John about their new album, Duo, which was released by Centaur Records in September. The album features 20th and 21st century American music for flute and piano written by Aaron Copland, John Harbison, Jennifer Higdon, Kristin Kuster and Halsey Stevens.
