As NPR celebrates its 50th anniversary, its co-founder and public media innovator Bill Siemering is visiting WTJU and the University of Virginia.
You’re warmly invited to attend a public talk on Thursday, March 19, 7 p.m. at UVA’s Monroe Hall, room 130.
In this public talk, Bill Siemering will speak about where the ideas for U.S. public radio came from, the role of public & community radio in emerging democracies, and why public media is still vitally important today.
