Holly Renee Allen and Susan Munson will stop by WTJU Tuesday afternoon, March 29, around 5 to chat about the April 9 Neon Angels concert at the Front Porch on April 9. Coming to the Stage airs Tuesday afternoon from 4-7pm (edt) at 91.1 FM and online at wtju.net.
Started by Holly Renee Allen and Susan Munson, the Neon Angels began as a festival honoring female voices. This strong collective of women songwriters and musicians from the southeast are disrupting the status quo again. This time, with ‘Neon Angels On The Porch’, a songwriters round highlighting new upcoming and familiar voices in Albemarle, Shenandoah, and the surrounding area. The first show in the series will be a SweetHeart reunion show featuring Holly Renee Allen, Susan Munson, Terri Allard, and Front Porch teacher Erynn McCleod.
