Live Classical Music on WTJU: Thursday, April 23 at 8 am

By WTJU

Music Feeds Us is an annual free concert series in Charlottesville and Staunton, which raises money for the local food bank and promotes hunger relief generally.

This year, their concerts will be held as follows:

Wednesday, April 22, 7:30pm – free concert at Trinity Episcopal Church, Staunton
Thursday, April 23, 7:30pm – free concert at First Presbyterian Church, Charlottesville
and
Friday, April 24, 11am a “Meet the Artist” Special Event & Reception, at Cove Church, Covesville.

We are delighted that the MFU String Quartet will be performing live on WTJU at 8 am on Thursday morning, April 23rd, during Classical Sunrise.  Host Kyle Chattleton will welcome (l-r), Madeline Fayette (cello), Jinjoo Cho (violin), Eric Wong (violin), and series co-founder, Fitz Gary (viola) for a delightful hour of music and conversation.
