WTJU Salutes John Maroun

By Folk Department

WTJU is fortunate to have a wonderful team of volunteers, many of whose voices we hear on the radio.  Then there are those like John Maroun, who toil behind the scenes doing their part to make sure what goes out over the airwaves and web stream sounds its best.Jean Maroun Crowd

WTJU has made live music a priority, and John’s work as sound engineer since November of 2014 has proved invaluable.  From the live engineering of so many Lambeth Live concert broadcasts, to even more live studio broadcasts, to his mastering of those programs in post production, to training of new sound engineers, John has been tireless in his volunteer efforts on behalf of WTJU and its listeners.

Below are just a few of the programs of which John has been a part.  Thank goodness for volunteers like John Maroun!
