WTJU 91.1 FM

Dhara Goradia and Quiet Fire will put on the second night of this year’s Jazz Marathon concerts. This is a free event, open to all. You can also listen on the radio (91.1 FM) or on-line, and even video stream it at WTJU’s Facebook page or YouTube channel.  But concerts always sound better with you as part of the studio audience.  WTJU is located at 2244 Ivy Rd in Charlottesville, right next door to Vivace.  There is plenty of parking, both in our lot as well as the Sentara lot next door.

Dhara Goradia and Quiet Fire featuring Loren Oppenheimer on Tabla and Eric Knutson on guitar plus special guest. Bassist and UVA alum Dhara Goradia leads this world music project influenced by sounds of the east and concepts of modern jazz. A fresh new sound for lovers of improvised music. John D’Earth was once a member of this stellar group.
