Isabel March bound for the Stage

Staunton based singer/songwriter Isabel March is coming over the mountain Tuesday afternoon around 5 to play Around This Town. After time performing around Spain, Isabel recently returned to Virginia to record her debut EP, Time, Among Other Things, released in April. Around This Town airs Tuesday afternoon from 4-6pm at 91.1FM and streaming at wtju.net.
Isabel March is a Boston based singer – songwriter from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Stylistically, her music can be characterized as “dream folk”, pointing to influences like Gregory Alan Isakov, Sufjan Stevens, Jason Isbell and The Avett Brothers. Vocally, Isabel’s greatest influence is Billie Holiday, creating a compelling balance of folk and jazz in her compositions.
