John Elwell, Community Engagement Manager for International Rescue Committee (IRC) will stop by WTJU Tuesday afternoon during Around This Town to chat about the IRC and its Stories of Hope program this Friday evening at Vinegar Hill Theatre. The event will feature engaging panel discussions that bring to light the resilience, challenges, and triumphs of displaced individuals. Attendees will hear firsthand accounts from refugees and community advocates, fostering a deeper understanding of their journeys and the support needed to rebuild lives.
