WTJU’s Tenisha Alston spoke with playwright Kelley Van Dilla about their upcoming work “Let Go of Me,” being performed virtually through Live Arts.

“Let Go of Me” is an autobiographical play written by local playwright, director, and filmmaker Kelley Van Dilla exploring the tenuous relationship between a non-binary transgender child and their mother who has bipolar, while mirroring the many ways we both connect and disconnect with others during a pandemic.
