70 years ago, Paul Paray presided over the Detroit Symphony, and Thomas Beecham completed his cycle of the last six Mozart Symphonies with the Royal Philharmonic. On January 7, 1955, Marian Anderson broke the color line at the Met Opera when she appeared as Ulrica in Verdi’s Masked Ball.
Analog Masters celebrates these events and another historic landmark. Host and producer Tom Godell was born 70 years ago!
