HOW TO ENTER: You qualify to automatically be entered in the WTJU 2024 Folk Marathon prize giveaway if you are:
- A recurring donor from a past Folk Marathon whose monetary donation automatically renews each year.
- An early bird Folk Marathon donor whose monetary donation or pledge is received between January 16 and February 4, 2024.
- A new donor or renewing donor whose monetary donation or pledge is received any time between February 5 and February 12, 2024.
No purchase or donation is necessary to enter this giveaway. Entries from those who do not make a purchase or donation receive the same consideration as those who do. You can enter the giveaway by using this form or by emailing wtju@virginia.edu. All entries must be received by WTJU by 11:59 p.m. on February 12, 2024. All entries must include the individual’s first and last names, shipping address, email address, phone number, and birthdate.
ELIGIBILITY: Anyone 18 years of age or older can enter the giveaway except employees, current volunteers, and advisory board members of WTJU and their immediate family.
SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNER: Winner will be selected by a random drawing managed by WTJU, and will notified by email or phone no later than February 15, 2024. If the winner does not respond by the deadline indicated in the notification, the prize may be released to another winner. Prize can be claimed from WTJU offices at no fee during business hours. If unable to claim prize in-person, winner is responsible for shipping & handling costs to claim prize.
CHANCE OF WINNING: Chance of winning depends upon the number of eligible entries received. The name of the winner may be announced on-air, via email, via social media, and may be posted wtju.net. WTJU will not disclose to the public the address, phone number, or email contact information of any entrant or winner.
RESTRICTIONS: Limit one entry per person regardless of entry method or number of monetary donations. WTJU reserves the right to cancel any giveaway and not award any prize in the event that in its judgment unforeseen developments warrant cancellation.
