Acclaimed composer, bandleader and musician Sam Reider will stop by WTJU this Thursday to go track by track through his latest album, The Golem and Other Tales, out June 21 (with distribution on Free Dirt Records). Folk & Beyond airs Thursday afternoons from 4-7 at 91.1FM and streaming at wtju.net.

Sam Reider is a pianist, accordionist, composer, and educator. From his instrumental folk ensemble The Human Hands to his Latin Grammy-nominated collaboration with Venezuelan artist Jorge Glem, Reider’s unique compositional voice and melodicism runs throughout his eclectic projects. less
