Diane Cluck brings her House Tears to Eclectic Woman

By WTJU

Date: 03/25/2025

Time: 12:30 pm

Local singer songwriter Diane Cluck will join the Eclectic Woman show on Tuesday for a live session at the Stage ahead of her performance with Brittany Ann Tranbaugh and Shona Carr at The Front Porch on Friday, March 28. Tune in to the session on 91.1 FM, stream via wtju.net, and video stream on WTJU’s Facebook and YouTube channels.

Diane Cluck is a singer-songwriter who leans on classical piano training in approaching guitar, dance as an inspiration for rediscovering piano, and voice as a rhythm instrument and paintbrush. House Tears, her ninth record, was recorded with Colin Killalea at White Star Sound in Louisa, VA and released this year.

Bell-clear and hotly austere, her lithe, dynamic voice hasn’t much kin. Categorizing her as folk is simplistic. (Cluck) emanates something humble but mythic. Appalachia or ancient Athens? – Time Out New York
