WTJU’s youngest deejay, Oliver the Kid, returns this Thursday afternoon, June 3, at 1 (edt) with another Country Spotlight. This month he will explore the sounds of Robbie Fulks, a singer, recording artist, instrumentalist, composer, and songwriter. His most recent release, 2017’s Upland Stories, earned year’s-best recognition from NPR and Rolling Stone among many others, as well as two Grammy® nominations, for folk album and American roots song (“Alabama At Night”).
Country Spotlight airs the first Thursday each month at 1 pm during Cosmic American Jamboree, and can be heard over the air at 91.1 FM, streaming at wtju.net, or by asking your smart speaker to “Play WTJU.”
