Camp Corduroy artists come a calling twice, Aug 20

Camp Corduroy is putting on its first festival August 24 and 25, and some of the artists will stop by WTJU on Tuesday afternoon, August 20. Devon Sproule and Jennifer Hoyt Tidwell (The Near Misses) will first drop by the Eclectic Woman Show around 12:30, and then Will Overman will do the same at 4:30 during Around This Town.
Camp Corduroy 2019 is a FREE 2-night music & performance festival with camping and walking/mountain biking trails at Camp Corduroy in Louisa, Va, just 25 minutes outside Charlottesville. Sponsored by the Corduroy Charitable Trust, this weekend is FREE to the public and was founded to celebrate the local/regional music scene and raise awareness of three local nonprofit organizations: The Front Porch, The Nature Conservancy, and Fight Like a Grrrl.
