Book Interview: Surviving the War in Syria: Survival Strategies in a Time of Conflict

WTJU’s Lewis Reining talks with author Justin Schon about his latest book, “Surviving the War in Syria: Survival Strategies in a Time of Conflict.” In it, Justin uses analysis from over 200 interviews with refugees to argue for civilian agency in times of conflict and to unpack the complex decision making that happens as civilians try to navigate their everyday lives.
