Independent Folk Singer/Songwriter Alex Mabey, left Nashville at nineteen to return to her Washington State roots and travel the country and abroad to see what sound would authentically cultivate by immersing herself in other cultures and adventures. In the last decade, alongside working with youth nonprofits and outreach, she released multiple albums, showcased at music industry events, and opened for Amy Grant, Wynonna Judd, Craig Morgan, Sara Evans, Liz Longley, and more. After getting her Masters in teaching she moved back to Nashville in 2018, and garnered support in 2021 from her fans and community resulting in fundraising over $46,000 to independently release and market her upcoming and sixth album set for February 2023. Her raspy, soaring, powerhouse vocals deliver her heart wrenching story of finding strength and walking in love, while navigating leaving her marriage and battling autoimmune illness. Though not without its occasional challenges, now she walks in health and freedom with a mission to bring healing and empowerment to others who need it.
