A Conversation with Sound Artist, David Rothenberg

This Sunday Offstage, On-Air talks to environmental sound artist, David Rothenberg, who participated in the Coastal Futures Festival this past Friday, an annual event blending environmental humanities, music and science.

UVA artist in residence David Rothenberg has written and performed on the relationship between humanity and nature for many years. As a composer and jazz clarinetist, Rothenberg has at least forty albums out under his own name. He is an author, GRAMMY Award-winning musician, and Distinguished Professor of Philosophy and Music at the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
