A Collector’s Christmas

By Ralph Graves

Celebrate Christmas with Analog Masters! In our Christmas Day episode, we’ll feature rare seasonal music made between 1926 and 1975. Vaughan Williams and Samuel Barber transformed beloved carols into brilliant concert works.

We hear both, along with a wartime plea for peace by Andre Jolivet. And we’ll air selections from Thomas Beecham’s path-breaking 1927 “Messiah” recording.
